Police: Rochester woman charged with prostitution, possessing cocaine with intent to sell

The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a 30-year-old Rochester resident following an investigation into prostitution.

Police say Samantha Stavalone, 30, of Rochester was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, as well as prostitution.

It’s alleged that Stavalone agreed to have sex with an undercover detective for a fee. She’s also accused of possessing crack cocaine and suboxone.

She had the intent to sell it, according to police.

They say additional charges are pending.
