Public sessions to be held at two locations in Ontario County to address questions about COVID-19

A pair of information sessions have been scheduled in Ontario County for residents looking to learn more about the novel coronavirus.

The “Prepared NOT Scared” presentations will provide an overview of what is known about coronavirus, its symptoms, diagnosing it, and home treatment, according to the Finger Lakes Times.

Ontario County Public Health will lead both sessions.

They will be held simultaneously on Thursday from 6-7 p.m. One will be held at the Geneva High/Middle School on Carter Road, while the other will be held at Canandaigua Academy Middle School on Granger Street.

Anyone with a fever, cough, or suffering from shortness of breath is asked to not attend.
