Bloomfield woman sent to Strong following rollover crash, charged with DWAI drugs

On Wednesday at approximately 9:37 a.m. multiple departments were called to County Road 30 for a one-car rollover crash.

Kathryn Kreger, 40, of Bloomfield was operating her 2008 Hyundai Elantra, traveling west, when she went off the roadway and struck a tree before overturning.

She suffered minor injuries and was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, according to deputies.

The Sheriff’s Office reports that airbags deployed, and that she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck.

However, investigation determined that she was operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs. She also had a revoked license at the time of the wreck due to previous DWI convictions.

She was subsequently charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation, and operating without an interlock device.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
