Police say a 52-year-old Canandaigua man was arrested for driving while his ability was impaired by drugs after a traffic stop on North Main Street.
The stop was initiated due to the driver, identified as Dean Castle, 52, of Canandaigua, speeding along North Main. He also failed to keep right, according to police.
Investigation determined that Castle was impaired by drugs while operating the vehicle.
He was subsequently issued an appearance ticket to appear in the City of Canandaigua Court at a later date.
