Macedon man took vehicle for test drive and never returned it; now charged with grand larceny

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Macedon man following the investigation of a stolen vehicle.

Trent Goodrich, 19, of Macedon was charged with grand larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

He’s accused of taking a car that had a for sale sign on it for a test drive on December 28th, 2019.

Deputies say he then never made payment for the vehicle, and never returned it.

Goodrich eventually turned himself in to police, but that didn’t happen until February 4th, according to deputies.

He will answer the charges in Sodus Town Court at a later date.
