Geneva City Council took time this week to outline its priorities for 2020.
While there are seven new members to the governing body – they are looking at things a little differently than past councils.
Two sessions have been held in the last week. Mayor Steve Valentino said that he ‘loved’ the new ideas that had come from the first session last week; as well as the second held on Wednesday.
“I won’t bash the previous Council, but I will say we have a different Council,” Valentino said.
The retreats were launched under Matt Horn’s leadership as city manager. Now Sage Gerling, who was appointed city manager after Horn’s exit – led the effort.
