Police investigating multiple shots fired at residence in Ithaca

The Ithaca Police Department says they are investigating the report of multiple shots fired around the 200 block of West Spencer Street.

When police arrived shortly before 11:30 p.m. a witness reported to them that an unknown subject could be seen exiting a vehicle on West Spencer Street, firing four rounds toward a nearby residence.

That person then fled the scene inside the vehicle.

Members of the Ithaca Police Crime Scene Unit responded and assisted with processing the scene and collecting and documenting evidence to include four shell casings that were located. At this time this investigation is currently ongoing.
