Congressman Tom Reed is among six elected officials who will lead President Donald Trump’s re-election effort in the state.
Finger Lakes News Radio reports that Reed will be joined by Dutchess County Sheriff Butch Anderson, fellow Congressmen Peter King and Lee Zeldin, New York City Councilman Joe Borelli and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik of the Albany area leading that effort.
In a press release, Rep. Reed expressed his pleasure with the appointment. “I am honored to serve the President as a chairman for his New York campaign. The President’s agenda of creating jobs and making America more safe and secure resonates with New Yorkers,” Reed said.
Primary Day is scheduled for April 28th for New York.
