Lawmakers are looking to seal the deal on the flavored tobacco product fight, which has been boiling over since mid-2019.
There are a pair of bills, which are being backed local social justice group, parents, and legislators universally.
They would end the sale of all flavored tobacco products in New York.
“We know what the problem is,” State Sen. Brad Hoylman (D-27) told WHEC-TV. “Teenagers, most of whom never smoked cigarettes have been targeted by Juul and other e-cigarette companies and big tobacco with dessert, fruit flavors and menthol.”
