Nurses from Geneva General Hospital’s Acute Rehabilitation Department are offering monthly free blood pressure screenings and education at the Geneva Community Lunch Program held at the Geneva Methodist Church located at 340 Main Street. This month’s screening is scheduled for Friday January 24 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
75 million adults have been diagnosed with high blood pressure in the United States. High blood pressure is a major risk factor for heart attack, stroke and heart and kidney failure.
Free blood pressure screenings are also held the second Tuesday of each month in the Garnsey Rehabilitation Dining Room at Geneva General Hospital from 1-3 p.m. Parking and entrance is at the rear of the hospital. For more information, please call (315) 787-4620.
