On Saturday around 4:15 p.m. deputies were called to the scene of a rollover crash on Yellow Mill Road, north of Fox Road in the town of Farmington.
Deputies say that James Gears, 27, of Macedon was operating a 1993 Ford F-150 when the vehicle hydroplaned on the road, causing him to lose control.
The truck then turned on its left side and came to rest against several small trees. Deputies say that Gears suffered a fracture to his left upper arm as result of the crash.
He was transported by Victor-Farmington Ambulance to Thompson Hospital for treatment of that injury and others.
Deputies discovered through investigation that the vehicle had several tires failing to meet legal tread depth requirements. They ticketed Gears for unsafe tires.
Farmington Fire Department also responded to the scene.
