What happened to the fuel?
The Auburn Citizen reports that more than $9,000 worth of fuel can’t be accounted for following an audit of the Moravia Central School District.
The answer? Apparently more cameras, and better safeguards to ensure that the shortcoming isn’t realized again.
The shortage, or lack of accounting was discovered in the period between July 2018 and August 2019.
Superintendent John Birmingham says the district plans to comply with the findings and recommendations.
