The fill the boot campaign was a big success in Auburn.
The Auburn Fire Department’s 2019 Fill The Boot Campaign raised $2,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, according to CNYCentral.
“We are so grateful for their dedication and for the generosity of those in the Auburn community who have helped to raise critical funds to help transform the lives of kids and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases,” said Karen Fink, development coordinator for MDA.
The money raised helps research and life-enhancing programs to help those impacted by MS, ALS, and other neuromuscular diseases.
The fill the boot campaign has been an annual tradition for 65 years.
