Multiple agencies assist in felony narcotics bust in Ontario County

Sheriff Kevin Henderson reports the arrest of a Rochester duo following an investigation into the sale of narcotics and a non-fatal overdose.

He says that while responding to an overdose in November, 30-year-old Eric Brown, of Rochester was identified as a supply and source of heroine and fentanyl in Ontario County.

Henderson reports that over the last several weeks an undercover investigator purchased fentanyl and crack cocaine from Brown on several occasions.

Last week, Brown sold both to the undercover deputy and was aided by 31-year-old Devon Walker, another Rochester resident.

As result, both were taken into custody and charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Brown and Walker were remanded to the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment. However, Brown was released on his own recognizance. Henderson reports that Walker was held due to previous felony convictions.

He says additional charges are pending and being considered by an Ontario County Grand Jury. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Geneva and Canandaigua Police Departments, as well as the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
