Canandaigua man accused of stealing over $1,000 in power tools from local business

Deputies arrested a 33-year-old Canandaigua resident following an investigation into the theft of tools from an Ontario County business.

Deputies say Rolfe Newton III, 33, of Canandaigua was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.

He’s accused of stealing over $1,000 worth of power tools from Runnings on October 23rd, 2019.

Newton was arraigned and released to appear in Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
