The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two men on a number of hunting violations after they were found trespassing on private property in the Town of Varick.
Deputies responded to the report of hunters poaching deer on private property, and upon investigation – they located 36-year-old Richard Green, of Cicero, and 41-year-old Shawn White, of Brewerton.
The two were in possession of two deceased deer, which were in their truck bed, on clearly-marked private property, according to deputies.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by New York State DEC. Deputies say appearance tickets were issued and the charges will be answered at a later date.
The case has been turned over to DEC.
