A 35-year-old Seneca Falls woman was arrested for unlawfully dealing with a child after police responded to a family problem complaint.
Police say that Olivia Ritter, 35, of Seneca Falls reported that her 15-year-old child was being disorderly and not listening to her.
While on-scene police interviewed both parties, and determined that Ritter had allowed the child to smoke marijuana inside the home on multiple occasions, and at least once – smoked marijuana with the child.
She was subsequently charged with unlawfully dealing with a child, a misdemeanor. She was processed and released.
Seneca County Child Protective Services opened an investigation following the arrest.
