Nieko Lisi went missing at the end of September in 2011. Since then his mother, Monica Button of Jasper, has been looking for him.
Nieko’s cellphone was last pinged in Franklin, Tennessee. At the time he disappeared in 2011, he was 18 years old. Now, Button is speaking out and spreading his story on a Facebook Watch series called “Vanish: The Missing Person’s Project”. She says all she wants is to get some help to finally bring her son home.
“This is absolutely huge,” said Nieko’s mother, Monica Button. “We have wanted for years for national attention and nobody wants to touch the story because law enforcement won’t be involved in it because they say it’s an ongoing case. But as far as ongoing case, they certainly haven’t given any updates.”
While Button believes Nieko is not with us anymore, she will continue to do whatever she can to find her son.
