Deputies say that several people were hurt and transported to a Rochester-area hospital after a crash along State Route 104 in the Town of Williamson on Tuesday.
Deputies say Michael Laird, 40, of Sodus was stopped in traffic – facing west – waiting to make a left turn into a business along Route 104.
A second vehicle, operated Toni Goff, 30, of Red Creek struck the rear of Laird’s – pushing it into oncoming traffic. Deputies say Laird’s car was struck by two vehicles traveling east on Route 104.
Four people were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of various injuries from the wreck.
The injured were identified as the two drivers, an 11-year-old female passenger and 56-year-old Kenneth Hartman.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by East Williamson Fire Department, Williamson Ambulance, Ontario Ambulance, and Sodus Ambulance.
