A judge ruled Friday that the Seneca Nation of Indians must pay New York casino revenues.
The decision was in response to the Seneca’s motion to vacate an earlier arbitration panel’s ruling in favor of the state.
The tribe stopped making revenue payments from its three casinos to the state last year, after the state approved the expansion of four upstate casinos that aren’t owned by Native Americans.
The Seneca Nation said they will review today’s decision and determine how to proceed.
