An Auburn man was taken into custody on sex abuse charges following an investigation into assaults that spanned years.
Police say Joseph George Woodman, 32, of Auburn was charged with first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child younger than 13 years old.
Woodman is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with the child from August 2014, when she was 9-years-old, until August 2017, when she was approximately 12-years-old.
The Citizen reports that Woodman was arrested around 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday at the Auburn Police Station. He had been interviewed by police at the time.
Woodman was arraigned in City Court. Bail was set at $2,500 cash.
