Police: Seneca Falls woman stole from customer while working shift at local business

Police report the arrest of a Seneca Falls woman following an investigation into employee theft.

According to a press release, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Samantha Taylor, 27, of Peterman Road following an investigation into a theft that occurred at a local business.

The business was not identified, but Taylor is accused of stealing a handbag containing jewelry and prescription medication from a patron.

Taylor was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny. The charges will be answered in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
