A state health council will vote on Governor Cuomo’s ban, which he signed on Sunday.
Vape shops across the state will then have two weeks to get banned items off their shelves.
It covers all flavored e-cigarettes, which health experts around the country have said are often marketed to younger e-cigarette users.
The ban would not cover menthol or tobacco-flavored e-cigarettes.
