On Sunday around 3:19 p.m. police arrested 41-year-old Julie M. Young following an investigation into a personal injury accident that happened on August 9th.
It was reported that on that date at approximately 10:30 a.m. Young’s three-year-old child walked into the path of a vehicle at a local apartment complex.
The vehicle struck the child who suffered a minor abrasion to his forehead. The child was transported by his mother to Geneva General Hospital.
The child was treated and released; and police say that no other injuries were reported.
Police say that Young failed to supervise the child as he played near the parking lot. Young was charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
She was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. The charges will be answered at a later date in Seneca Falls Town Court.
