The Ontario County Humane Society is getting plenty of help as they care for the “Naples 85.”
The 85 Cairn terrier-type dogs were rescued from a home in Naples on July 31 in one of the worst cases of animal cruelty in the county’s history. The dogs are currently being treated for fleas, allergies, and parasites.
The Humane Society says they have received over $53,000 in donations to help the pups as of August 10.
On top of their $125,000 goal, the Humane Society is also asking for storage space to keep the donations.
