Bicyclist sustains non-life threatening injuries after being struck by car in SF

Police say that at approximately 8 p.m. on Thursday first responders were called to the scene of a car-bicycle accident at the intersection of Bayard Street Extension and Kenmore Drive in Seneca Falls.

The Seneca Falls Police Department responded, along with the Seneca Falls Fire Department and North Seneca Ambulance.

Police say John B. Scaildone, 82, of Arizona struck a 14-year-old bicyclist who was riding his bike across the roadway.

The juvenile failed to stop, according to police, and was struck by Scaildone’s 2018 Nissan Sentra.

Police say the bicyclist was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
