Seneca Falls man charged with unlawful imprisonment, coercion after domestic incident

On Friday at 8:29 a.m. police arrested Francisco M. Martinez, 20, of Seneca Falls following a domestic incident.

During the domestic incident it was reported to police that Martinez shoved a female, subjecting her to unwanted physical contact; restricted her from leaving by physical force; and intentionally destroyed property.

Additionally, after the female was able to get to her vehicle, Martinez stood behind the vehicle threatening to have her dog run over by a vehicle if she left.

While holding the dog the male did so in a manner that was choking it.



Martinez was charged with unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, coercion in the second degree, harassment in the second degree and torturing or injuring animals.

Martinez was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to be arraigned.

He will be due back in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date to answer the charges.
