Prison City Pub & Brewery’s plan for a new facility took another step Wednesday, as the Auburn Industrial Development Authority approved a tax deal for the project; the latest in a series of governmental approvals for the project.
The award-winning brewery plans to build a new brewery, tasting room and restaurant, and beer garden at 251 North St., with approximate sizes of 14,000 square feet, 8,250 square feet, and 5,000 square feet, respectively. An exiting approximately 8,000-square-foot barn would also be renovated into a tasting room.
