Legislators urging residents to vote for WGI as best NASCAR track

State Senator Tom O’Mara and Assemblyman Phil Palmesano are urging New York residents to vote as much as possible for WGI as America’s best NASCAR track.

This marks the fourth year in a row the track is in the USA Today’s competition for best NASCAR Track designation. The track won the title in 2016, 2017 and 2018 – and looking to make it a four peat.

The area legislators stressed that anyone can vote once a day, everyday, on an internet-cable device.

In a joint statement, O’mara and Palmesano said, “it was a great opportunity to help keep the Finger Lakes region on the national map and to show our pride in the glen.”
