Seneca Falls man held on no bail after threatening to stab person over debt

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a town resident following a harassment complaint.

Christopher Murray, 27, of Seneca Falls is accused of being in possession of property belonging to another person after he entered into an agreement to pay for it.

Police say Murray failed to pay for the items, and when the original owner of the items inquired – threats were made – making the victim feel unsafe.

Murray is accused of engaging in threatening behavior, which included threatening to stab the victim, placing him in fear of physical injury.

He was arrested on several charges including petit larceny, menacing, and harassment.

Murray was transported to the Seneca County Correction Facility and also violated the terms of his parole.

As result he’s being held on no bail.
