After formally requesting the resignation of Cayuga County Administrator J. Justin Woods on Wednesday, county legislators have largely declined to provide a reason for the request, although some say it's the position itself they don't support.
The Legislature on Wednesday provided Woods, who started as administrator in Dec. 2017, with a formal written request for his resignation, and have spent much of the week working to determine how to continue from here, according to multiple officials.
