Several emergency agencies battled a blaze in Cato in Friday.
Cayuga County dispatchers said a call came in for smoke coming from a roof at 10207 Baker Road at 5:51 p.m. Dispatchers said the fire was extinguished around 7:30 p.m, adding that the owners of the home weren’t there at the time.
