The top-seeded Skaneateles girls lacrosse team looked every bit like the favorite in the Class D sectional bracket Thursday, rolling past No. 4 Marcellus, 17-4 at East Syracuse Minoa High School.
The Lakers advance to face No. 2 South Jefferson in the championship game, set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at SUNY Cortland. That battle will be a rematch of last season’s title game, won by the Spartans for their first-ever sectional crown.
