The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a 40-year-old man on a felony criminal mischief charge following an incident on May 18th.

Around 11:35 p.m. an officer was flagged down by a passerby in the area of Mill Street, and notified of a disturbance, which had been taking place in that area.

The officer responded to the scene, and found 40-year-old Vincent A. Riccio, of Canandaigua chasing individuals in the parking lot. During that time, he repeatedly punched the windshield of a vehicle, which was parked in the lot.

Damage to the windshield exceeded $250.
