On Friday at approximately 10:49 a.m. police arrested a 17-year-old male after he damaged property on two separate occasions.
The male, whose name is being withheld due to age, intentionally damaged a cellular phone, bicycle, and light fixture, according to police.
During one of the incidents, the male fled the scene leading police on a foot pursuit. He was found, and arrested on several charges – including felony criminal mischief, misdemeanor criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and criminal obstruction of governmental administration.
Police say that due to Riase the Age Legislation, the male was released to a legal guardian scheduling him to appear before Seneca County Probation later this month.
