Every time he returns home, the award reminds the Syracuse football kicker of the standard he set as a redshirt freshman in 2018, when he started the spring as the backup, won the starting job in fall camp, earned a scholarship midseason and capped off a historic year with unanimous All-America honors and a trophy distinguishing him as the best kicker in the country.
