The weekend starts warm, and ends wet.
The Finger Lakes is going to see a pretty solid weekend forecast – for the second full-weekend of April. While forecasters say showers and possibly a thunderstorm will be on their radar this evening, and through the overnight hours – any precipitation will hold off until late.
That means a high near 70 with increasing clouds will make for a pleasant end to the work week. That said, it will be a breezy afternoon – with gusts in the 30s to near 40 mph.
After some showers and the threat for some thunderstorms tonight – things calm down and get sunny for Saturday. High temperatures on Saturday will push into the 60s again, with some locations closing in on 70, according to the National Weather Service.
It won’t be until Sunday when things cool off and get damp again. The National Weather Service says afternoon showers will make for a soggy end to the weekend for the Finger Lakes. That rain will continue into Monday morning – beginning the new work week.
High temperatures on Sunday and Monday will range between 50 and 55.
Both wet and dry the next few days for #pawx #nywx; Saturday looks best for outdoor plans. Forecast details specific to your location: Enter city or zip in the searchbox/click go at https://t.co/dv9aDpJ43M or https://t.co/wwk3K8Rive pic.twitter.com/bGGhrSmdbr
