Deputies: Inmate accused of damaging housing unit at Seneca County Correctional Facility

Deputies say that a 27-year-old inmate at the Seneca County Correctional Facility was arrested on a felony charge after investigation of an incident at the jail.

Elliot Flores, 27, was charged with second-degree falsely reporting an incident, a felony; and fourth-degree criminal mischief following an incident at the jail.

Deputies say the incident occurred on March 31st when Flores was an inmate. He’s accused of causing damage to the sprinkler system within a housing unit.

As result of Flores’ actions – the Romulus Fire Department was called to the scene, along with law enforcement.

He was arraigned on April 1st.
