Sheriff Kevin Henderson announced the arrest of two fugitives from Ontario County on Tuesday, who were wanted in connection with a Geneva robbery.
U.S. Marshal Charles Salina and Sheriff Henderson say that Jessica Cram and Miguel Perez were captured in Green County, North Carolina.
Authorities say the two were arrested by police in Geneva last May. They were charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree kidnapping in connection with a robbery at the Pick Quick convenience store on April 28th, 2018.
During the robbery, a store clerk was tied up. After their arrest, Perez and Cram were released on bail but failed to appear for their next court appearance in Ontario County Court last fall.
Henderson says the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service worked together and developed information indicating that the duo had fled the state.
Perez and Cram are in custody in Greene County and will be extradited at a later date.
