A Marion woman is facing charges after an alleged domestic incident Sunday.
Rebecca Maynard, 44, is accused of taking a phone from a minor who was attempting to call 911 and placing her arms around the minor’s neck.
Deputies say she held another person in the scene of the alleged incident against their will, and resisted arrest when she was being taken into custody.
She has been charged with criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing, unlawful imprisonment, resisting arrest and endangering the welfare of a child.
She was released on her own recognizance and is due back in court at a later date.
