Deputies in Wayne County arrested a Lyons man on felony assault charges after an arrest warrant was issued.
Mario A. Baynham, 46, of Lyons was charged with second-degree assault, which is a felony, according to deputies. He was taken into custody on Sunday.
The warrant stems from an incident that occurred on March 6th where Baynham allegedly got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend during a domestic dispute.
Baynham was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, criminal mischief, and harassment – in addition to the felony assault charge.
The charges will be answered at a later date. Baynham was remanded to the Wayne County Jail.
