Police: Wolcott man charged with DWI

Police say a 27-year-old Wolcott man was arrested on multiple charges – including possessing an open container in a car and driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop this week on State Route 104.

According to police, Miguel A. Hernandez-Domingo, 27, of Wolcott was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08%, possession of an open container, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and moving from the lane unsafely.

Hernandez-Domingo was stopped on State Route 104 in the Town of Sodus for moving from the lane unsafely, according to police.

He was placed under arrest after failing standard field sobriety tests.

Police issued tickets and the charges will be answered at a later date in Sodus Town Court.
