Multiple DWI arrests over the weekend in Steuben County

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reported a trio of arrests related to impaired or intoxicated driving over the weekend.

Alicia Fay Young, 39, of Beaver Dams was stopped on Reynolds Avenue, in Corning by patrols. She is accused of operating a vehicle under the influence of both drugs and alcohol. As result she was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol combination. She was released on a traffic summons and will answer the charges in Corning City Court at a later date.

Kevin D. Vantreese, 22, of Canisteo was stopped on County Route 66 in Hornellsville on Saturday. Deputies allege that Vantreese was intoxicated by alcohol and was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving with a BAC above 0.18 percent, suspended registration, and driving without insurance. He was released on a traffic summons and will appear at a later date in Hornellsville Town Court.

Graham W. Mitchell, 36, of Bath was stopped on West Washington Street in Bath by patrols on Saturday. Mitchell was allegedly operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition. It was determined that due to a prior alcohol related offense and conviction that he was required to use an interlock device. He was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, operating without an interlock device, and driving in excess of the posted speed limit. He was arraigned and released to answer the charges in Village of Bath Court.
