Sophomore Eric Holden scored seven goals and added two assists to lead the Hobart College lacrosse team to a 21-12 win over Canisius College at Pinnacle Athletic Campus tonight. It’s the most goals scored by a Division I Statesman and the most by any Statesman since 1986.
Holden’s big day got started when he fired home the game’s opening goal off an assist from first-year Jason Knox. After the Golden Griffins tied the game a minute later, Holden scored again and then set up a goal by senior Chris Aslanian. Hobart led 4-2 at the end of the first quarter.
