The Syracuse Orange’s much-anticipated game against Duke at the Carrier Dome on Saturday, Feb. 23, will start at 6 p.m.
ESPN, which will televise the game, announced the tip-off time for the game on Monday.
Syracuse officials have already announced that tickets for the Duke game are sold out. That means the game is likely to break the NCAA’s all-time attendance record for an on-campus game. The previous record of 35,446 was first set on Feb. 1, 2014 when Syracuse hosted Duke and then tied on Feb. 14, 2015 when Duke visited the Carrier Dome again.
Syracuse upset then-No. 1 Duke, 95-91, at Cameron Indoor Stadium earlier this season on Jan. 14.
The starting time does not indicate whether ESPN’s GameDay will come to Syracuse on the day of the Duke game. ESPN has yet to announce its plans for that weekend.
