Webster police are investigating after a body was discovered Tuesday afternoon along the 600 block of Lake Road, according to law enforcement officials.
A contractor reported the remains around 1:15 p.m., prompting a response from officers who confirmed the body was human. Authorities have not yet determined the individual’s identity or gender, and the circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear.
The Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office is handling the investigation as officials work to learn more.
