Fire destroys home in Hornby

A Hornby home near Cox Road was destroyed by fire Wednesday night around 7:50 p.m.

Fire crews from multiple departments responded, closing part of Hornby Road and using portable water tanks to battle the flames.

Details about injuries and the full extent of the damage have not yet been released.

Authorities are continuing to investigate.
