A crash that was witnessed in the city of Auburn resulted in one person being taken into custody.
First responders say a vehicle crashed into a utility pole, which caused it to snap in half. That vehicle then drove off and crashed into a home on Cottage Street.
The Citizen reports that a witness told them that the driver kept going after the crash.
However, about 10 minutes after the initial crash — the driver was taken into custody.
Police did not have any additional updates.
