Ethel Birnell of Newark died Oct. 6, 2026, according to her obituary from Becker-Keysor Funeral Home.
Born in Clarksville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Max and Marion Birnell. She enjoyed coloring and playing bingo.
She is survived by her sister, Joann Baker, and several nieces and nephews. Her brother-in-law, Everett Baker, predeceased her. The family’s notice announced no calling hours or services and private burial arrangements at Palmerville Cemetery in Russell.
