Tammy Jo "Penny" Lincoln passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 24, 2026, after a five-year battle with renal disease.
In her 60 full years of life, Tammy had many career journeys. She earned a master's degree in pastoral studies from St. Bernard's School of Theology and Ministry and served in the pulpit at Half Acre Church for two years. She was also a manager at the Salvation Army store for a time, and she worked for many years for the Waterloo and Seneca Falls school districts, first as an instructional substitute and then as a custodian. She loved all these jobs and took great pride in her work, but fulfilling her lifelong dream of pastoring a flock was the highlight of her career. Her most important roles in life, though, were being a daughter, sister, friend, witness for the Lord, and the best, most fun, most amazing auntie of all time.
Tammy witnessed daily to everyone around her, whether friend, family, or stranger, and she was a light leading so many to the Savior she loved above all. We can never know the exact number of souls she touched and brought to the Lord. Surrounded by love, she took her last and most special journey with joy and is in the arms of Jesus forever.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn E. Robinson of Waterloo, NY; brother Christopher Folk (Lindsey Luce) of Waterloo, NY; sister Charity (Nick) Gillotti of Waterloo, NY; nieces and nephews Chris Bastian, Trinity Folk, Calista Folk (Neven) Budimlic, Ryan Gillotti, Noelle Gillotti, Simone Gillotti, Corinne Gillotti, and Minette Gillotti; and sister-in-law Tiffany Folk.
